Registered Nurse- Community Therapy Service
The Royal Melbourne Hospital – Royal Park Campus
- Part time up to 44 hours a fortnight
- Fixed Roster Monday to Friday
- Work as part of the multidisciplinary team
- Located at Royal Park Campus- services are delivered both on site and in the community
The Community Therapy Service (CTS) delivers multidisciplinary rehabilitation at the Royal Melbourne Hospital – Royal Park Campus.
The multidisciplinary team includes professionals from the following disciplines: Dietetics Exercise Physiology Nursing Occupational Therapy Physiotherapy Prosthetics & Orthotics Psychology Social Work Speech Therapy. The service is committed to delivering high-quality rehabilitation, promoting self-management, independence, and improved quality of life for patients.

Your new role:
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to manage a range of healthcare issues.
- Provide clinical assessment and management including medication, diabetes, wound care, and continence.
- Assess clinical risk and coordinate care pathways and referrals with GPs, community services, and specialist clinics.
- Support health promotion for patients and provide relevant staff education.
About you:
- You are an AHPRA registered Nurse at least 3 years’ experience working in community service setting
- You enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- You have advanced clinical assessment skills
- You are a critical thinker and innovative problem solving
