About The Royal Melbourne Hospital
The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) part of the Parkville Precinct and is one of Australia's leading public hospitals, providing a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services, as well as rehabilitation, aged care, specialist clinics and community programs.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Community Services Physiotherapy team based at RMH Royal Park Campus. We see a variety of patients in their home in the north west of Melbourne for both the Post Acute Care and Transitional Care Home Based Program.

Your new role:
- You will treat clients discharged from many of Melbourne’s public health facilities with a wide variety of conditions.
- You will primarily see clients in their home but options to use telehealth if required is provided.
- You will utilise the latest in digital health systems including EPIC EMR
- While you will work largely autonomously, this role involves extensive teamwork with various community agencies, case managers and care coordinators involved in the care of patients.
About you:
- You are a registered AHPRA Physiotherapist with minimum four years’ experience
- You will have a commonsense approach to the management of risk, whilst being flexible and creative in treatment planning to be able to engage patients in their therapy
- The ability for you to be innovative and demonstrate initiative will be highly regarded.
- You will have experience in and enjoy treating a wide variety of conditions in the community such as orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, cardio-respiratory and gerontology.
