About The Royal Melbourne Hospital:
The Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Services is a collaborative and supportive work environment committed to providing evidence-based treatments to consumer and carers with serious mental illness. We are located in the midst of the Puckle Street precinct surrounded by cafes, parks and public transport (trams, trains and buses).
Your new role:
- Deliver evidence-based treatments for complex mental health needs.
- Combine leadership duties with direct clinical work.
- Support the team, team leader, and program manager in maintaining high standards.
- Provide supervision and expert opinions on diagnoses and treatment planning.
- Contribute to team operations, including staff support and leadership.
- Participate in occasional weekend shifts.
About you:
- Relevant qualification and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in severe mental illness assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Expertise in evidence-based interventions for low-prevalence disorders and endorsed RMH MHS practice domains.
- Commitment to professional development and effective teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.
- Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Windows and related systems.
- Hold a current Victorian Driver’s Licence, and ongoing ability to use this form of transport
