Job Description:

Community Engagement Officer - Snow Centre for Immune Health

The Royal Melbourne Hospital

  • 0.8 FTE, two-year contract.
  • Lead engagement and retention of participants in a flagship longitudinal research study.
  • Collaborate with leading organisations including RMH and WEHI.

We're searching for an experienced, creative, articulate, and highly motivated Community Engagement Coordinator to join the Snow Centre for Immune Health team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to build something meaningful and make a real impact.

This role will support the Snow Centre’s objectives in developing and implementing the centre’s consumer engagement strategy to deliver on its translational goals.

About the Role

The Snow Centre role spans both the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) and WEHI, supporting aligned functions across both organisations.

As our Community Engagement Coordinator, you will lead the development of strategies that deepen our connection with diverse audiences. You’ll bring a strong understanding of Consumer perspectives, engagement trends, and cross-channel communication - and you’ll know how to turn insight into action.

You’ll work across teams, partner with stakeholders of a wide range of ages and demographics, and help guide the organisation on how to connect, inspire, and engage. The role is embedded at RMH and will work closely with WEHI’s Consumer Program.
