Cognitive Dementia and Memory Service Senior Clinician

  • Part Time Fixed Term (0.8eft leave cover) until end of July 2025
  • Registered Nurse (Grade 4B) or Registered Allied Health (Grade 3)

The RMH Cognitive Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS) is a specialist multidisciplinary diagnostic, referral and educational service for people experiencing memory loss, or changes to their cognition, and for those who care about them. The service is located on the Royal Park Campus.

The CDAMS Senior clinician role is to:

  • Contribute to patient assessment and care planning
  • Provide information and support sessions for patients and families/carers post diagnosis
  • Act as a resource within RMH and Community Services regarding dementia care

 

About you:

  • Registered Nurse or Allied Health Worker, eligible for registration in Australia
  • You will have expert knowledge and expertise in dementia care
  • You have demonstrated skills in interpersonal and communication skills
  • You have a passion for the care of patients and their families who are experiencing cognitive changes associated with dementia
  • You are experienced in providing education and participation in quality and research
