The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Trials Coordinator to support our growing nephrology research portfolio.
Home to one of the largest dialysis and kidney transplantation programs in Australia, RMH Nephrology is a national leader in conducting high-impact clinical trials across a wide range of kidney conditions.
About the role:
You’ll join a dynamic team of investigators and research staff coordinating innovative clinical trials, including investigator-initiated and pharmaceutical-sponsored studies. Working closely with the Clinical Trials Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end coordination of clinical trials, ensuring protocol compliance, participant safety, and high-quality data collection.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of assigned trials including ethics and governance submissions
- Recruitment, visit scheduling, and data management
- Liaise with principal investigators, sponsors, CROs, and the RMH Office for Research
- Support patient screening and informed consent processes
- Maintain accurate study documentation in accordance with GCP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless trial delivery
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in clinical trial coordination or clinical research
- Excellent communication, organisational, and documentation skills
- Strong understanding of GCP and the clinical trial lifecycle
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience in nephrology or a related specialty is desirable
