Clinical Nurse Educator - Intensive Care

- Opportunity for an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join the Nursing Education team as a Clinical Nurse Educator.
- Working within the Intensive Care Unit.
- Ongoing, part time - 0.9 EFT.
We are looking for a passionate, dedicated individual to join our Nursing Education team. As a part of the Intensive Care Nursing Education team, you will work with other Nursing Education staff to provide clinically based education, supervision and support to learners and staff of all levels. This is a leadership position where you will work in collaboration with the clinical area management and multidisciplinary teams to deliver nursing education initiatives and support to ensure a high standard of safe, effective and timely person-centred care to our patients.

Our Clinical Nurse Education team are professional role models, providing support for formal nursing programs (Undergraduate, RISE, Postgraduate and Bridging programs) and continuing education opportunities and initiatives for all nursing staff.
The Education Department works collaboratively with the Clinical area, Research team, our Precinct partners and our University Affiliations to embrace innovation, diversity and evidence-based best practice and patient care.
About you:
- Post Graduate Qualification in Critical Care Nursing.
- Clinical Nurse Specialist.
- Extensive nursing experience in all or multiple specialties, or transferrable skills and a demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively.
- Passionate, enthusiastic and a willingness to embrace new ways of learning.
- Ability to provide mentoring and leadership in the clinical areas.
- Experience providing staff, graduates and students with clinically based supervision and training in accordance with RMH policy and procedures.
- Experience in the delivery of Entry to Practice, as well as a willingness to support the development and implementation of RISE, Postgraduate programs and Bridging programs to staff within the clinical area.
