Clinical Nurse Educator – Renal Service
- Opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Nursing Education team as a Clinical Nurse Educator
- Working across the Renal Service, supporting 6SW, 6W, John Perrett and Home Dialysis
- Fixed-Term Full-Time | October 2026 -Jan 2027
Join the Neurosciences Nursing Education team and provide clinical education, supervision and support to nurses and learners across all levels of experience. Working closely with clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams, you will lead and deliver education initiatives that build nursing capability and support safe, effective, timely and person-centred care.
Key accountabilities
- Design, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs aligned with best practice and service needs.
- Provide clinical education, supervision and support to nurses and learners across all levels of experience.
- Identify workforce capability needs and develop targeted education and professional development initiatives.
- Promote evidence-based practice, quality improvement and continuous learning across the clinical environment.
- Collaborate with clinical and multidisciplinary teams to support onboarding, capability development and high-quality patient care.
About You
- Extensive nursing experience in all or multiple specialties, or transferrable skills and a demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively
- Post Graduate Qualification in specialty area
- Passionate, enthusiastic and a willingness to embrace new ways of learning
- Ability to provide mentoring and leadership in the clinical areas
- Experience providing staff, graduates and students with clinically based supervision and training in accordance with RMH policy and procedures
- Experience in the delivery of Entry to Practice and Graduate Nurse Programs, as well as a willingness to support the development and implementation of RISE and Postgraduate programs to staff within the clinical areas
