Position Title: Chemical Pathologist

14 hpfn - Fractional / Fixed Term (October 2025 - October 2026) 

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

About the role:

• The chemical pathologist will be working closely with the Head of Department and other Consultants in Chemical Pathology and all other medical and scientific staff to assist with the diagnostic and teaching functions of the department.

A       About You: 

• Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (for international Medical Graduates)
• MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
• FRCPA-Chemical Pathology
