An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Exercise Physiologist to join the Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Team as a Grade 2 Exercise Physiologist at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, working across our sub-acute services. This is a unique opportunity to provide support across inpatient rehabilitation, aged care and community therapy services.
Your new role:
- Undertake assessment, management and referral plans for patients.
- Participate in supervision and education of junior Exercise Physiologists, as well as the staff clinical supervision program.
- Contribute to the provision of high quality patient information.
- Practice person centred care and contribute to decision making with patients and carers.
About You:
- You demonstrate a competent level of patient assessment, treatment and management experience.
- You hold relevant qualifications, professional membership and accreditation.
- You display effective verbal, non-verbal and written communication.
- You have a sound understanding of emergency and safe working practices in the hospital setting.
