Casual Grade 2 Exercise Physiologist

• Based at our Royal Park Campus.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Exercise Physiologist to join the Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Team as a Grade 2 Exercise Physiologist at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, working across our sub-acute services. This is a unique opportunity to provide support across inpatient rehabilitation, aged care and community therapy services. 

Your new role: 

• Undertake assessment, management and referral plans for patients. 
• Participate in supervision and education of junior Exercise Physiologists, as well as the staff clinical supervision program. 
• Contribute to the provision of high quality patient information. 
• Practice person centred care and contribute to decision making with patients and carers. 

About You: 

• You demonstrate a competent level of patient assessment, treatment and management experience. 
• You hold relevant qualifications, professional membership and accreditation. 
• You display effective verbal, non-verbal and written communication. 
• You have a sound understanding of emergency and safe working practices in the hospital setting.
