Grade 2- Casual Weekend Physiotherapists
- Based at both City and Royal Park campuses of the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH)
- Shift length 8 hours on Saturday and/or Sunday
- Work across a variety of areas to meet clinical care

The Royal Melbourne Hospital Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology service employs over 200 staff providing services across the City Campus in Parkville and the Royal Park Campus. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic and friendly team.
You will be provided opportunities to gain experience working in a well-supported multidisciplinary team environment with a wide variety of acute and sub-acute clients. This position will contribute to our weekend staffing model which is well supported by Grade 3 Physiotherapists. We are looking to recruit new Grade 2 staff members to the following areas:
- Neurosciences
- General Medicine
- Orthopaedics
- Inpatient rehabilitation
- At Home Services

Your new role:
- Bring your excellent clinical skills to provide high quality patient assessment and management.
- Contribute to the operational needs of the department across a 7-day service model.
- Work across a variety of wards/caseloads.
- Prioritise clinical load based on daily demand.
About you:
- Excellent Physiotherapy assessment and treatment skills and the ability to manage a variety of complex patients across the spectrum of patient management.
- You have the ability to effectively prioritise and manage patient assessment, treatment and management in the acute and/or sub-acute setting.
- Well-developed communication, time management and organisational skills.
- Experience working in a hospital healthcare setting.
- You are able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
