About The Royal Melbourne Hospital
The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) part of the Parkville Precinct and is one of Australia's leading public hospitals, providing a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services, as well as rehabilitation, aged care, specialist clinics and community programs.
We are seeking an experienced research nurse to support trials in interventional and general cardiology. They will be responsible for recruitment, scheduling, assessment and monitoring of participants enrolled in clinical trials using a range of administration, research driven and educational tools to ensure best practice. This role will require performing assessments with participants at regular appointments and compiling required reports.

About the role:
- Flexible working days – work /life balance with No weekends
- No Night duty – Monday to Friday business hours .
- Cardiology plan to grow and expand their clinical trials and seek an experienced Cardiology research nurse to be support and be part of this growth.

Qualifications
- Nursing registration with AHPRA
Essential

- A basic understanding of the research process (new project submissions and amendment, serious adverse event (SAE reporting, essential documentation)
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to practice collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Advanced assessment, critical thinking and organisational skills.
- High motivation for learning, service improvement and patient centred care.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative, resourceful and adaptive to change
- Competence with EPIC EMR
Desirable
- A good clinical knowledge of Cardiology - structural and interventional Cath Laboratory procedures as experience as a Cardiac nurse is very advantageous
