Cardiac Physiologist - Grade 3 EP/CIED

- Perform monitoring and stimulation during Electrophysiology procedures
- Participate in all aspects of Cardiac Implanted Electronic Device (CIED) management including implants, follow up and remote monitoring
- Assist with training and supervision of trainees

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) part of the Parkville Precinct and is one of Australia's leading public hospitals, providing a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services, as well as rehabilitation, aged care, specialist clinics and community programs.
RMH Cardiology are seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join the team. The primary role involves working in the EP lab, Cath Lab and assisting with the management of CIEDs. Participation in an after hours oncall roster on a rotational basis is also required.

About the role:
- This is an opportunity to consolidate your knowledge in Cardiac Physiology in a supportive team environment
- Gain skills and experience in a range of basic to advanced EP procedures.
- Current mapping systems include Carto, EnsiteX, Affera and Opal (Farapulse).
- Work in all aspects of CIED management including implants, follow up, lead extraction and remote monitoring with city and regional patients from our clinics at RMH, Albury and Shepparton
- Participate in Cath Lab procedures including congenital, coronary and structural intervention
- Assist with developing the Cardiac Physiologist workforce
About you
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science/Applied Science in a relevant field
Essential
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Cardiac Physiology including EP and CIED
- Current registration with the Australian Council for Clinical Physiology (ACCP)
Desirable
- IBHRE Accredited Cardiac Device Specialist (Allied Professional)
- IBHRE Accredited EP Specialist (Allied Professional)
- Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Electrophysiology (CEPIA)
