Cardiac Physiologist - Cath Lab Educator (Grade 3)

The Royal Melbourne Hospital

  • Provide education and training for Cardiac Physiologists working in the Cath Lab 
  • Contribute to workplace planning activities involving the Cath Lab
  • Assist with managing equipment used in the Cath Lab

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) part of the Parkville Precinct and is one of Australia's leading public hospitals, providing a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services, as well as rehabilitation, aged care, specialist clinics and community programs. 

RMH Cardiology are seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join the education team. This position will support the training and development of Cardiac Physiologists working in a range of Cardiac Cath Lab procedures.

About the role: 

  • Assist with developing the Cardiac Physiologist workforce   
  • Manage maintenance and servicing of equipment used in the Cath Lab
  • Be involved in workplace planning to ensure efficient patient workflow  

 

About you 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor of Science/Applied Science in a relevant field 

Essential

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Cardiac Physiology and Cath Lab procedures
  • Current registration with the Australian Council for Clinical Physiology (ACCP)

Desirable

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
