Join the team. Build a career. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Business Manager to support a major clinical service. This is a full-time, ongoing position based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital City Campus on Grattan Street, reporting to the Finance Director.
Your New Role
In this role, you will partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to provide strategic financial insight and support decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with services to provide commercial insight, identify improvement opportunities and deliver expert financial advice, including the development of business cases
- Leading monthly financial reporting, planning, and the development of service budgets and forecasts, with a strong focus on activity performance
- Providing detailed financial modelling and business support to General Managers and clinical leaders
About You
You are a strategic thinker who can translate complex financial information into meaningful insights for stakeholders.
You will bring:
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA or ACMA)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage large data sets, provide in-depth analytics and communicate insights effectively
- A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
