Job Description: 

Assistant Accountant

  • Exciting opportunity to work within the Finance and Logistics portfolio of The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
  • Hybrid work model
  • Full Time – Ongoing position, 80 hours per fortnight with monthly ADO
  • Salary - $73k

Your new role:

  • Working collaboratively to assist in month end close process, balance sheet reconciliations, assisting in annual statutory reporting and other legislative compliance
  • Helping identify and drive process improvements
  • Liaising and building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance or a related discipline and aspiring to or working towards CPA or CA
  • Highly driven, proactive and self-starter
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a pressured environment, possess the ability to problem solve and have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel
