Admission Clerk - Day Procedure Unit

- Part Time fixed term position
- Work with a diverse and supportive team
- Rotating Roster: Monday to Saturday
As a member of the 3 West Day Procedure unit the admission clerk will work in close collaboration and liaison with all members of Peri-operative Services, thus ensuring a harmonious and efficient patient flow in and out of the Day Procedure Unit, Operating Suite and related services.
Your new role
- Deliver a professional customer focused service.
- Provide clear and concise communication with staff, patients and visitors
- Answer and respond to telephone and reception enquires
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships both inter and intra departmentally
- Maintain and file relevant documentation and medical records in accordance with departmental policies
- Provide clerical, secretarial and receptionist support to the Perioperative Department as required
About you
- Professional communication skills, written and verbal, including a professional telephone manner
- Clerical experience and administrative skills
- Thrive in busy environments
- Competent computer skills
