Administrative Officer - Victorian Tuberculosis Program

Join the Victorian Tuberculosis Program at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and contribute to the vital work of TB prevention and control across Victoria. Based at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity, this role supports a dedicated team of clinicians and public health professionals in their mission to protect the health of our community.
Your New Role:
- Provide essential administrative support for TB surveillance, data collection, and case management.
- Assist the team with program record keeping, correspondence, billing, and data entry.
- Coordinate support for research and clinical activities, helping ensure timely and accurate documentation.
- Liaise with internal clinical staff and external partners to keep the program running smoothly.

About You
- You're an organised and detail-oriented administrative professional who is ready to make a meaningful impact in public health.
- You’ve successfully completed VCE and are confident using Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Your written and verbal communication skills are exceptional, and you’re always ready to offer customer-focused service.
- You thrive working in a collaborative, team-based environment and understand the importance of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Prior experience in healthcare or public health settings is desirable but not essential — your willingness to learn and contribute is what matters most.
- You bring a positive attitude and are committed to supporting a team working toward a healthier Victoria.
