About the role
Join the Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Department in a key administrative role supporting the end-to-end management of outpatient referrals. You will play an important part in ensuring patients are booked efficiently and receive timely access to specialist care, while working closely with clinicians, patients and internal stakeholders to deliver a high-quality outpatient service.
You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative administrative team that is committed to delivering efficient, patient-centred care to a diverse community. Key Accountabilities
Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager, the Administrative Assistant is a key member of the customer service team and is responsible for the end-to-end administrative management of the patient's outpatient episode of care, including but not limited to
- Referral management
- Appointment scheduling
- Waitlist management and auditing
- Phone, online and health hub enquiries
- Front desk reception duties

- You have acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style
- You like to work autonomously and as part of a team
- You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
