About the role

 

Join the BreastScreen multidisciplinary team at the Royal Park Campus and play an important role in delivering a welcoming, compassionate, and person-centred experience for clients and their families.

 

As the first point of contact, you will help create a positive and supportive environment while working alongside a dedicated team committed to the early detection and prevention of breast cancer.

 

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day in a collaborative healthcare setting.

 

Shifts are typically 8.00am–4.30pm, with one evening shift per week required to support extended clinic services and improve access for clients.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Welcoming and assisting women attending for mammograms
  • Answering phone enquiries in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Supporting clients returning to Parkville for further investigations following changes identified during screening
  • Excellent time management and completion of data entry and quality assurance (QA) tasks
  • Provide coverage at screening clinics located in Essendon and Footscray

 

About You

 

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, and telephone techniques
  • Proven skills and accuracy in data processing and managing medical records
  • Proactive and willing to work and learn in a team environment
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and work ethics
