About the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH):
Royal Melbourne Hospital operates two residential aged care facilities in the suburbs of Brunswick and Keilor East. Our values of leading with kindness, people first and excellence together guide the way we work with our residents and their loved ones and each other. Our committed staff of experienced registered and enrolled nurses are inviting you to join us to build your career in aged care.
Cyril Jewell House accommodates up to 45 residents and is situated in the quiet suburban streets of East Keilor. Our team supports residents by having a solid understanding of dementia, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's disease, mental health, and physical health impacts on older adults.
Your role:
- Provides administrative and clerical support to the Nurse Unit Manager and staff
- Supports efficient operation of clerical, reception, and administrative services within the facility
- Performs key duties including reception, records management, and data entry
- Ensures high-quality administrative support aligned with organisational standards and requirements
- Adheres to Melbourne Health values, policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
About you:
- Certificate iii or iv in Health administration
- Experience as administration officer in an aged care facility
- Understand the aged care standards and New aged care act
- Current NDIS workers screening check
- Commit to the Melbourne Way by prioritising people, leading with kindness, and striving for excellence.
