The Cardiology Administration Officer contributes to the provision of a friendly, professional and patient-focussed administration team in Cardiology Diagnostic Services - 2 East.

About the role:
- You will be coordinating and booking patient appointments for diagnostic tests including appropriate patient preparation and reception duties for patients and visitors.
- Opening, closing and restructuring slots and clinics for Cardiology diagnostic tests
- Running EMR reports for clinics, attendances, FTAs and forward bookings
- Proficiency in processing of accurate patient billing for diagnostic tests performed in the Department ensuring Medicare compliance for relevant activities.
About you:
Essential:
- You will be a kind and caring person who prioritises the best access to care for patients and has a strong desire to support the team to do the same
- 3-5 years experience working in a hospital setting setting
- Demonstrated phone and clinic reception skills
- Strong data entry skills of excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate professionally with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- MS office suite; EPIC; IPM; FMIS; Zedmed: Filemaker
Desirable:
- Experience with billing packages
- Understanding of Cardiology Diagnostic environment
