About The Royal Melbourne Hospital
The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) part of the Parkville Precinct and is one of Australia's leading public hospitals, providing a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services, as well as rehabilitation, aged care, specialist clinics and community programs.
Join as an Administration Officer, where you’ll support vital youth mental health services for people aged 12–25. In this role, you’ll assist with health record management, ensure compliance with the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022, and help coordinate key systems like EPIC Health Hub and Parkville Connect. You’ll work closely with clinical teams and external stakeholders to support efficient, high-quality service delivery across multiple sites.

About the role:
- Provide administrative support statutory reporting obligations under the Mental Health & Wellbeing Act 2022
- Operate and maintain computerised health information systemsPerform routine data integrity activities
- Support telehealth services
- Complete Health hub & Parkville Connect related administrative tasks
- Support day-to-day operations of Health Information Systems (HIS)
About you:
Essential
- Demonstrated clerical experience and administrative skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritise, manage and respond flexibly to a variety of tasks, and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Good attention to detail
- Proven ability to work with limited direct supervision
Desirable
- Experience in a role with similar tasks as set out
- Experience in working with hospital patient administration systems (e.g. iPM, EPIC, ECM)
