About the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Accounts Payable Manager to join our Finance team. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment while driving process improvements and operational excellence.
You will oversee payment operations, maintain strong financial controls, and ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements.
Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will enhance service delivery, lead system and process improvements, and develop a collaborative, high-performing Accounts Payable team.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 Accounts Payable Officers
- Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable across 3 entities
- Manage weekly payment runs and ad hoc payments
- Ensure AP processes comply with internal controls and company policies
- Maintain both automated and manual payment processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
- Assist with audit requirements and compliance reporting
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and system enhancements
- Support the team with complex queries and drive best practice across AP operations
About You
- 5+ years' experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in a senior or leadership capacity
- Experience working within complex, multi-entity environments
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Hands-on and detail-oriented with solid technical AP knowledge
- Proven leadership ability with a coaching and development mindset
