The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. Unit Description:
The RMH Neurology Unit is one of Australia’s premier clinical and academic Neurology units. It offers a full range of inpatient, ambulatory care and outpatient services and an active clinical trials and research unit. In addition to the state-wide comprehensive stroke centre, the department has strengths in epilepsy (dedicated 4-bed video-EEG monitoring unit), multiple sclerosis and other neuroimmunology conditions, movement disorders including deep brain stimulation, neuromuscular conditions including neurophysiology, and neuro-ophthalmology
About the role:
- Participation in clinical handover at the beginning and end of each shift
- Ensuring availability for all rostered shifts
- Undertaking rostered duties after hours (including nights and weekends)
About You:
- Current Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
- Ability to work in a team
- Well-developed communication and presentation skills.
