We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. This is a Full Time, Fixed Term position, based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Parkville Campus.

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
 

About the role:

The purpose of this role is to provide daily medical care and oversight to the Rapid Assessment and Care of the Elderly (RACE) service under the supervision of a consultant Geriatrician. You will work closely with the range of Geriatric Medicine units at Royal Melbourne and other services within the Home First division that support older patients with care at home. 

About You:

  • Must hold General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications - MBBS
  • Successful completion of RACP written and clinical exams
