Job Description: 

Grade 3 Senior Podiatrist

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH)

  • Two roles available due to internal opportunity and parental leave
  • Role 1: Full Time ongoing position across acute and community satellite sites
  • Role 2: Full time fixed term (parental leave backfill) until July 2027
  • Part time and job share options considered

Your New Role

  • Provide exemplary clinical care to consumers, and supervision within the podiatry team
  • Contribute to and support podiatry-related research
  • Provide excellence in patient care, demonstrating leadership and innovation in a clinical setting, specialising in high-risk foot assessment, treatment and education
  • Collaborate with colleagues across RMH teams, other service providers, and the broader professional community
  • Provide excellent communication and leadership within the team

About You

  • You enjoy working in a team and collaborating across professions and craft groups
  • You demonstrate exemplary clinical skills in high-risk foot care and lower limb biomechanics
  • You demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills
  • You have previous experience with supervision of staff and students
