Registered Nurse

  • Ongoing Part Time position
  • 64 hours per fortnight
  • Must work rotating roster

5 North is a 20 bed ward caring for the diverse speciality of General Medicine.  This diverse group of patients requires the nursing staff to have a broad range of clinical and non-clinical skills to effectively care for these patients.  This includes a high level of clinical expertise in general nursing skills along with specialist skills in recognizing the deteriorating patient. This diverse group of patients require the nursing, allied health, pharmacy & medical teams to work together as cohesive unit to ensure best care is provided.

Your new role:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with acute and complex medical needs
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care
  • Support patients and their families through education, advocacy and clear communication

  • Commit to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence

About You:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Sound clinical reasoning and prioritisation skills
  • Commitment to safe, high-quality patient care
  • A positive and adaptable attitude
  • You are a compassionate and motivated nurse, focused on delivering person-centred care
  • You thrive in busy clinical settings and enjoy working as part of a team
