  • Full-time, Fixed term role (until December 2026)
  • Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers, Grade 5 (HS5) plus above award

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is seeking an experienced and driven Project Lead to help lead the design and implementation of changes to the model for Aged Care Assessment within the VIC1 Service Area.

 

This is a unique opportunity to lead a significant project, collaborating across multiple public health services, to ensure older Victorians can access assessment for the supports they require to live well at home and in their community.

Your new role:

As Project Lead, you will provide leadership and contribute to key initiatives within Aged Care Assessment in Service Area VIC1. Working closely with Aged Care Assessment clinicians, leaders and external partners, you will design and drive improvement activities and high‑quality outcomes for older people and their families.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, leading and delivering project activities
  • Supporting service redesign, quality improvement and innovation
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Applying data, evaluation and change management principles to improve outcomes
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with RMH values

 

About you:

You are a confident leader with a strong understanding of aged care, health service delivery and system reform. You bring a collaborative approach, excellent communication skills and a passion for improving the experience of older people.

 

You will ideally have:

  • Demonstrated experience leading projects in aged care, health or community services
  • Current Working With Children's Check (WWCC)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills
  • Knowledge of the Commonwealth Aged Care Assessment system
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant sector experience
  • A commitment to person‑centred, equitable and high‑quality care
