Physiotherapist – Pain Clinic 
The Royal Melbourne Hospital

  • Grade 2 Part Time – Permanent 0.2 FTE

Your new team

  • The Pain Management team at the RMH are a dynamic and friendly team working together to provide excellent patient care to those experiencing persistent pain.
  • We enjoy a collaborative working environment to achieve patient goals.

 

 Your success in this role, will be in your ability to

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in the pain clinic.
  • Competently and independently assess, treat and manage patients in subacute / outpatient using evidence based practice.
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement activities.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development programs.
  • Clinician with experience and interest in working with clients experiencing persistent pain.

 

Your Contribution

  • You will help us achieve flexibility to meet clinical and workforce demands across sub-acute ambulatory care clinics.
  • Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Excellent clinical practice skills in pain/ rehabilitation assessment and intervention.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and a high degree of flexibility.
  • Commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork.
