- Full time Fixed Term Position until 1 Oct 2027
- Full Time Ongoing Position
- 80 hours per fortnight with monthly ADO
- Melbourne Health Pathology Service, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Biochemistry Laboratory
The Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care
Your Opportunity:
- Perform a variety of biochemical analyses using both automated and manual methods.
- Undertake other related duties as required.
- Participate in our rotational 24/7 shift roster.
About You:
- A bachelor’s degree in science or in applied science, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a tertiary hospital or private Biochemistry laboratory is desirable.
- Experience with Mass Spectrometry is desirable.
- Commitment to customer focused service.
- Capacity to perform under pressure, to meet time constraints and determine work priorities.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork-based skills.
