About the role

At the Royal Melbourne Hospital, we believe investing in our people has the potential to enhance the experiences of our patients. To help bring this vision to life, we are seeking an experienced Employee Experience Manager to lead initiatives that shape how our people experience work across the organisation.

In this role, you will partner with leaders and People & Culture colleagues to design and deliver employee experiences that foster engagement, belonging and performance. Through insights, innovation and human-centred design, you will help shape a workplace where our people can thrive.

 

About You

You are passionate about understanding what matters most to people and translating insights into meaningful improvements. Curious, creative and data-informed, you bring a customer-focused mindset and a proven ability to design experiences that drive engagement and organisational outcomes.

Your background may include employee experience, customer experience, service design, marketing, organisational psychology, behavioural science or consumer insights.

 

What You Will Bring

  • Experience designing and improving employee, customer or community experiences using human-centred design, journey mapping, service design or brand strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data and translate insights into actionable outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams.
  • A collaborative, adaptable and future-focused approach, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • You are driven about designing employee experiences that make a meaningful difference to how people feel, connect and thrive at work.
  • Experience in organisational psychology, behavioural science, and the interpretation of consumer purchasing behaviours, data, and emerging trends to drive decision-making

 

What You Will Deliver

  • Lead the design and enhancement of employee experiences across key stages of the employee lifecycle.
  • Gather and analyse employee feedback, insights and workforce data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, connection, belonging and wellbeing.
  • Measure impact and embed evidence-based practices to continuously improve employee experience outcomes.
  • Identify emerging trends and innovative approaches that enhance the employee value proposition and workplace culture.

 

As Employee Experience Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our people experience work at RMH. Working within our Talent and People Experience team, you will help create an exceptional workplace that supports our vision of advancing health for everyone, every day.
