We are looking for a highly qualified, skilled and motivated individual to lead the training, education and development of pharmacy technicians in our Pharmacy Department. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other pharmacy team members to advance the development of pharmacy technicians services.

- Aseptic services
- Inpatient dispensary services
- Inventory management
- Compassionate and sponsored care programs

We are also continuously developing new roles into exciting areas such as:
- Ambulatory / outpatient care
- State-wide medication services
- Federal medications services
- Digital health and informatics
- Business and data analytics
- We are a dynamic and supportive pharmacy team working together to deliver safe, high-quality patient care and medicines management
- We enjoy a collaborative working environment, and you will work as part of the operational team to support the provision of medications
- We will support you to develop your skills in leadership and management
About the role
- Lead and support the training, education and development of pharmacy technicians across all areas of pharmacy technicians services of the department.
- Support the best possible patient care through developing and enhancing workforce development programs and pathways across the Pharmacy Department
- Be an active member of the Pharmacy leadership team
- Maintain a customer focus for all services within the scope of the position
- Contribute to on-call, after-hours, public holiday, and weekend services
- Participate in meetings and committees
About you
- Minimum Certificate IV in Hospital or Health Services Pharmacy Support (essential)
- Minimum 5 years of Hospital Experience
- You have experience with education and training in a hospital pharmacy setting, and demonstrated ability to provide leadership within a Pharmacy team
- You have excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and organise your work and deliver to deadlines
- You possess effective interpersonal skills, including negotiation with key stakeholders, conflict resolution, provide mentorship and fostering a positive work culture
- Current working rights in Australia or Citizens/Permanent Residents
