Job Description: 

                                                                                                                     Internal Communications Advisor

  • Full Time Fixed Term (Parental leave)
  • 5 weeks annual leave and 1 day off per month
  • Support change initiatives and strengthen internal culture

About the Communications Team

The Communications team plays a vital role in supporting the organisation’s workforce, reputation and strategic priorities. We work collaboratively across the hospital and with external partners including the Victorian Department of Health and organisations within the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct.
A small, high-performing team that values idea sharing, creativity and collaboration, with a strong focus on recognising success and building a positive internal culture.

Your new role

  • Provide best practice internal communications advice to support projects, initiatives and organisational change

  • Develop and deliver integrated communications plans and campaigns

  • Create clear, engaging and audience focused content for a range of channels, including digital and written communications

  • Translate complex or technical information into accessible messages for diverse audiences

  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure communications are accurate, timely and effective

About you

  • Qualifications in communications, journalism, marketing or public relations

  • Three to four years’ experience working in a communications role

  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering communications strategies

  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with an eye for detail

  • Experience creating and repurposing content across multiple channels and audiences

  • A passion for supporting organisational change through effective communication
