New Graduate Speech Pathologist

- Full time, fixed term (24 months – Jan 2026 - Jan 2028), working 80 hours per fortnight.

Your New Team
The Speech Pathology Department at the Royal Melbourne Hospital is a dynamic and high functioning team working across the acute, sub-acute and community settings. The team of approximately 33EFT are committed to providing evidenced based intervention and are supported to engage in professional development, research and quality improvement initiatives. Graduate clinicians work closely with more senior members of the team to maximize the learning experience across the continuum of care. The Speech Pathology team are committed to providing a culture of open learning, collaboration and excellence.
Your Opportunity
- Provides a high level of clinical care to clients and families across both the acute & subacute settings.
- Based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, with 12 months spent at the Royal Park Campus and 12 months at the City Campus.
- The Speech Pathology department has a multitude of programs, such as a regular peer support program, to allow new graduates to successfully transition into the professional workforce.
About You:
- A recently qualified Speech Pathologist with eligibility for membership to Speech Pathology Australia. Only new graduates need apply (within 6 months of qualifying).
- A willingness to participate in a 2-stage recruitment process involving a video presentation and face-to-face interview.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to ongoing learning.
