RMH Nutrition
The Clinical Nutrition department consists of approximately 35 EFT across RMH sites. We provide care to our patients within the acute, subacute and community therapy services across all speciality services. We operate a 7-day service. The department is committed to providing evidence based, patient centred nutrition care. Wellbeing, supervision and reflective practice, professional development, student teaching, quality improvement and research are key focuses of our team.
Your New Role
The Grade 3 Senior dietitian provides clinical expertise and leadership and has a prominent role in ensuring delivery of high-quality nutrition services to RMH Subacute services. The senior dietitian will lead a team of dietitians based at our subacute campus working inpatient, home based and outreach services.
Core responsibilities include:
- Clinical nutrition services delivery and oversight subacute service, including GEM, Rehab and Home based care
- Providing clinical leadership and supervision to junior dietitians
- Opportunity to lead a department portfolio and drive continuous improvement and innovation to nutrition care in the expanding arena of home based services
- Collaborative engagement with key disciplines and partners to deliver excellence in patient care
- Being an essential member of the RMH senior dietitians team
About You
- You are a clinical expert in subacute or home based nutrition services
- You have 7 years relevant clinical experience with a broad range experience in acute and/or sub-acute nutrition care
- You are eligible for full membership of Dietitians Australia
- Passionate about leadership and quality improvement
