Occupational Therapist - Grade 2 RMH @Home Sub-Acute
- Be part of our supportive and collaborative Occupational Therapy team
- Fixed-term parental leave backfill (12 months), commencing 7 May 2026
- Based at Royal Park Campus
The Sub-Acute at Home service at the RMH is committed to delivering exceptional patient care in the community. In this role, you will provide clinical assessment, intervention, and discharge planning for patients in the RMH@home program. You will be well supported by a Grade 4 Clinical Leader, experienced senior clinicians and the Occupational Therapy Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent, evidence based and patient centred care including assessment, intervention and discharge planning for patients in the RMH@home program
- Supervise and educate junior occupational therapists, allied health assistants and occupational therapy students
- Demonstrate excellent communication strategies with patients, relatives, staff and relevant services in order to provide appropriate services, information and leadership
- Actively lead and participate in Allied Health quality improvement initiatives and research
About you:
- You have hospital experience with a collaborative working style
- You have excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development for yourself and others.
- You are an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist dedicated to providing evidence-based practice
- You value working with supportive and dedicated Occupational Therapists and multidisciplinary teams.
