We are seeking a First Nations Workforce Coordinator to lead the recruitment, development and coordination of First Nations staff. Working with the Director of Aboriginal Health, hiring managers and key stakeholders including our Recruitment Services team within our People & Culture department, you will identify workforce priorities and create meaningful pathways that grow and strengthen our First Nations workforce.
About the role:
- Produce timely workforce data and reporting to support informed planning and decision making.
- Work collaboratively with hiring managers to identify workforce priorities and future needs.
- Lead and support recruitment, selection and cultural onboarding processes for First Nations staff.
- Contribute to initiatives and development programs that grow a strong, supported First Nations workforce.
- Maintain systems to monitor workforce effectiveness and support strategic workforce planning.
About You:
- Qualifications or experience in Aboriginal Health, social sciences, community development, health or related fields.
- Experience working in First Nations health, community or workforce development in a healthcare or community setting.
- Strong understanding of First Nations workforce priorities, challenges and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders.
