Endoscopy Booking Clerk
The Royal Melbourne Hospital 

 

  • Fixed Term Part Time position - until 30 June 2026
  • Monday to Friday friendly hours
  • Salary Packaging available

The Gastroenterology service strives to provide safe, appropriate and timely care for the patients of the Royal Melbourne endoscopy wait list. Within a supportive team environment, the Endoscopy Booking Clerk works closely with the Gastroenterology liaison staff, internal units and external providers.

Your new role:

  • Partner with the Gastroenterology Endoscopy liaison team to book, schedule and notify patients of their upcoming procedure
  • Maintain an accurate data base from which we report directly to DHHS
  • Ensure full utilization of resources available to us working closely with pre- admission clinic and perioperative services to ensure smooth and patient focused care on the day of their procedure

  • You will be a great communicator and be able to engage respectfully with all stakeholders.
  • Have an eye for detail and be able to maintain an accurate data base
  • Reliable and able to work in a team environment.
  • Be able to promote and maintain a safe and inclusive workplace.
