About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced senior leader to join RMH Mental Health Services as the Director of Allied Health and Learning & Development.
As a key member of the Mental Health Services Executive, you will provide strategic leadership across Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work and the Learning & Development function. You will lead workforce capability, clinical governance and service reform initiatives that support high-quality, person-centred care across a large and complex service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to allied health disciplines and the Learning & Development team
- Deliver and continuously enhance a contemporary, whole-of-service Learning & Development strategy
- Strengthen clinical governance systems to ensure safe, high-quality and person-centred care
- Lead workforce planning, capability development and performance across allied health services
- Build and sustain strategic partnerships with community, academic and government stakeholders
- Drive service improvement, innovation and reform initiatives across RMH Mental Health Services
About You
You are a collaborative and values-driven leader with:
- Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy with relevant professional registration
- Significant senior leadership experience in public mental health
- Expertise in clinical governance, workforce strategy and service improvement
- Strong stakeholder engagement and change leadership capabilities
- Alignment with RMH values of People First, Lead with Kindness and Excellence Together
