About the Role:

The Director, Safety Culture plays a pivotal role in leading a proactive and integrated approach to safety across RMH. You will oversee the strategic development, implementation, and governance of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) systems, including injury management, WorkCover, manual handling, respiratory protection, and recovery-at-work programs.

As a key member of the People & Culture leadership team, you will champion initiatives that empower our workforce to prioritise both physical and psychological safety. You will lead a team of dedicated safety professionals and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-practice safety outcomes that align with RMH’s values and strategic goals.

 

About You:

You are an experienced and consultative leader who brings:

  • Extensive experience in OHS, injury management, and safety strategy within complex organisations
  • A commitment to RMH’s values — putting people first, leading with kindness, and achieving excellence together
  • Strong ability to build effective partnerships and influence across all levels of the organisation
  • Proven capability to drive cultural change and embed a proactive, learning-oriented safety culture
  • Confidence navigating complex systems to deliver safe, healthy, and thriving workplaces
