Data Migration / Integration Analyst

Pathology Network West is bringing together pathology services across four leading health services – The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Royal Women’s Hospital, The Royal Children’s Hospital, and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre – into a single, world-class network.

We are seeking a Data Migration / Integration Analyst to plan, design, build, test and deliver data migration and integration workstreams. Working closely with vendors, technical teams, and stakeholders, you’ll ensure a seamless transition from multiple legacy LIS systems to the new platform.

 Your new role

  • Deliver key outcomes – Manage your own workstreams to deliver high-quality migration and integration between systems using HL7 messaging and ETL approaches.
  • Engage stakeholders – Lead consultations on technical design, validation, and workflow impacts.
  • Solve problems – Analyse, troubleshoot, and develop solutions for migration and integration challenges.
  • Work across streams – Collaborate with integration, testing, and training teams to ensure a smooth cutover and post-go-live support.

 About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience in data migration/integration, HL7, ETL, SQL and  data structures.
  • Background in LIS/EMR/PAS systems (Epic, Rhapsody, and Evolution vLab experience highly regarded).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
