Job Description: 

Clinical Pharmacist - Grade 1 or 2

The Royal Melbourne Hospital

 

  • Deliver high quality clinical pharmacy services  and patient care
  • Support advances in clinical practice & patient care activities
  • Provide mentoring for pharmacists, technicians, interns and students
  • Collaborate with key staff across the organisation
  • Contribute to on call, after hours and weekend services
  • Full time, Part-time, ongoing and fixed term positions available - grade 1 or 2 dependent on experience

Your success in this role, will be in your ability to

  • Deliver high quality patient care
  • Support advances in clinical practice & patient care activities
  • Work with your team to achieve patient focused KPIs
  • Provide mentoring for pharmacists, technicians, interns and students
  • Promote the quality use of medicines by contributing to quality and safety and research  projects
  • Collaborate with key staff members across the organisation
  • Contribute to on call, after hours, public holiday and weekend services

 

Your Contribution

  • Registered as a pharmacist with AHPRA
  • Experience in delivering clinical pharmacy services
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Proficient oral & written communication skills
  • Relevant post graduate qualification is desirable
  • Completed or working towards a residency program or can demonstrate competence in hospital pharmacy rotations. 
  • An enthusiasm to learn and further develop clinical pharmacy skills.  Opportunities available to participate in residency program.
