Your opportunity
The housekeeper role interacts with staff, residents, relatives and colleagues and their behaviours and actions are guided by patient centred care, unity, and respect.
Duties Include:
- Prepare and deliver meals to residents
- Ensure a clean kitchen environment is maintained
- Liaise with clinical staff on changes to resident’s meals
- Use of washing chemicals in a safely
- Deliver meal trolleys, food items and utensils from kitchen to resident’s rooms.
- Stripping off all meal trays and separation ready for washing
- Operation of dishwashing, washing machine and dryers

Cyril Jewell House accommodates up to 45 residents and is situated in the quiet suburban streets of East Keilor. Our team supports residents by having a solid understanding of dementia, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's disease, mental health, and physical health impacts on older adults.

About you:
- Basic food handling certificate
- Food safety certificate
- Current NDIS workers screening check
- Excellent work ethics, customer service skills, time management, and the ability to successfully work in a team environment.
- Ability to safely use cleaning supplies and equipment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (Approximate shift times - 0700-1430, 1000-1730,1530-2000)
