Additional graduate nurse positions have become available, commencing May 2026. These positions are open to Registered Nurse graduates who were previously eligible for the PMCV 2025 (for 2026) graduate match, and were unsuccessful in matching with a health service. If you previously matched with another Health Service and declined this offer, you will not be eligible for consideration this round. You may be required to supply a statutory declaration to confirm that you don't have an allocated PMCV position.
Recruitment decisions will be merit-based however, priority consideration will be given to applicants who meet the following criteria:
- Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents
- have completed an approved nursing or midwifery program offered by a provider in Victoria or border community
- are recipients of the Victorian Making it Free to Study Nursing and Midwifery initiative

- Official academic transcript with grading key visible
- Copies of your 2 most recent acute clinical apprasial tools. Include formative and summative scores along with comments. If you are unable to provide two acute clinical appraisial tools, you can submit a sub-acute placement or a second year (Bachelor students) or first year (entry to practice Masters).
- Two clinical referees from acute placements. For First Nations candidates, you are welcome to provide an Aborgional Elder as a referee.
