About the Role:
The Finance Systems Accountant’s role is to proactively support business users with day-to-day corporate systems applications in a shared service enterprise environment. Managing, analysing, enhancing and automating financial systems with a focus on platforms such as Oracle Financial, MagiQ Reporting and Budgeting and Esker on Demand Account Payable solution. This role is also required to provide a back-up coverage for a Finance Systems Officer, supporting the phone based Service HelpDesk when required.
Key Tasks:
- Administer and maintain all scheduled concurrent requests within Oracle R12;
- Maintain the organisational Chart of Accounts;
- Troubleshoot and fix finance systems errors and provide guidance to our stakeholders on a better use of our systems;
- Liaise with and build relationships with key external stakeholders, management and staff in order to ensure the provision of efficient and effective finance systems service.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information effectively;
- Ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced and complex environment;
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
