Casual Theatre Technician
The Royal Melbourne Hospital Perioperative Services

Your New Role
As a casual Theatre Technician at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, you'll be an essential member of our Perioperative Services team, contributing to excellent surgical outcomes for patients and their families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across 16 theatres covering all surgical specialties
  • Provide critical support in one of Melbourne's busiest Trauma and Emergency Surgical Departments
  • Rotate through various surgical specialties, ensuring a dynamic and diverse work experience
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled and respected team of technicians

About You
Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certificate III or IV in Operating Theatre Technical Support
  • Recent operating theatre technician experience
  • Ability to work a rotating roster and be on-call
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for continued professional development
  • Collaborative working style
