Systems and Data Analyst

Orygen Specialist Programs (OSP), a program of the Royal Melbourne Hospital, provides specialist mental health services for young people aged 12 to 25 and focuses on providing early intervention to young people with severe and complex mental illness.
The role of Health Information Services (HIS) is to provide guidance and leadership in the collection, use, evaluation and management of health information within Orygen Specialist Programs and the broader Area Mental Health Service. HIS and this role will act together as a key resource to contribute to the processes that guide the area mental health service towards continuous improvement in all aspects of service planning, management and delivery.
Your new role:
- Utilise data to provide insight into the service to support operational processes
- Work collabortativley with clinical and non-clinical staff to build an understanding and capcity in using data systems
- Support timely monitoring and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through data dashboards and reporting
- Develop and implement new reporting tools for senior management
- Contribute to projects across the service
About you:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a an equivalent role
- You have previous experience working with a variety of databases ideally within a healthcare service
- Experience in data management
- Exellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience working collaboratively with teams from multiple disciplines
- Capacity to manage systems and projects effectively
