Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist (G3 0.6EFT) & Psychology Educator (G4 0.2 EFT)
Fixed-Term Part-Time (0.8 EFT total) April 2025 – December 2025
The Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist role (0.6EFT)
- Provide patient-centred, evidence-based neuropsychology service including assessments and brief interventions in partnership with patients of Royal Melbourne Hospital
- Work predominantly in the Trauma team at City Campus
- Take an active role in the multidisciplinary positive behaviour support team for people with an ABI at the City Campus
- The Psychology Educator (0.2EFT of the role) designs and deliver in-house professional development for Psychologists and wider Allied Health as well as supporting student placements
- These two roles are currently held by one clinician. You can apply for one or both roles (please specify in your application)
Your new role as a Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist:
- Provide neuropsychological assessments, brief interventions and feedback with inpatients and outpatients at Royal Melbourne Hospital
- Develop and implement positive behaviour support planning for inpatients on the acute wards in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team
Your new role as a Psychology Educator
- Supervision of Grade 2 neuropsychologists and/or students
- Assist with student placement planning and organisation and liaise with education providers
- Design and deliver profession development seminars, workshops or online learning for psychologists (also attended by other allied health clinicians).
About you:
- 5+years’ experience as a clinical neuropsychologist
- You place a premium on patient-centred care and evidence-based practice.
- Experience writing and implementing positive behaviour support programs (for the Senior Neuropsychologist role)
- Experience working in a public health setting and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
