Your New Role
- We recently introduced a new, contemporary model for Allied Health in General Medicine to redefine care for our patients and the experience of our highly regarded team across 7 days.
- The OT medicine stream provides clinical services to a wide range of clients who have a variety of medical conditions.
- Provide excellent, evidence based and patient centred care including assessment, intervention and discharge planning for patients in the acute hospital wards
- Supervise and educate junior occupational therapists, allied health assistants and occupational therapy students
- Demonstrate excellent communication strategies with patients, relatives, staff and relevant services in order to provide appropriate services, information and leadership
- Enjoy a career structure which develops specialist clinical, research, education, and leadership skills for Allied Health working in General Medicine.
About You
- You have acute hospital experience with a collaborative leadership style
- You have excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development for yourself and others.
- You are an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist dedicated to providing evidence-based practice
- You value working with supportive and dedicated Occupational Therapists and multidisciplinary teams.
